 Summary: A Lovely Sunday Morning

The story is a first-person narrative from the point of view of a little boy called Pradeep. Pradeep

describes how he and his family spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon together in the garden behind their

house. Pradeep has a brother, Rajesh, and a sister, Nina. Rajesh loves to play cricket with their father,

while Nina lies down on the grass and draws with her box of crayons. Mother keeps a watchful eye on

the children while she reads a book. Grandfather seems to be really tired because he has fallen asleep

while reading the newspaper. The relaxed Sunday reminds us of what a happy family is all about.
