The first day of school is always a memorable day. The day starts off with Mother gifting Tarun a new

schoolbag and packing biscuits and an orange for his tiffin. Then, Tarun goes off to school. In school, he

enjoys his first day—he listens and reads stories and writes in his new notebook. When the school bell

rings and it is time to go home, Tarun cannot find his new bag. He feels very sad and starts to cry. Miss

Menon feels bad and helps him by looking for the bag, only to find that it is on his back!
