 Summary: How Creatures Move

As the name suggests, this poem tells us about the various ways in which

different creatures move. The poem highlights the fact that animals use

different body parts for movement—legs (lions), wings (birds), tail(monkeys),

the whole body (worm), etc. Also, the movement can happen on different

surfaces like land, water, sky, the trees, etc. Finally, the poem focuses on the

fact that most animals exhibit one or two types of movements while human

beings can move in a variety of ways—they can run, jump, leap, walk, and

dance.
