II. Reading the Story/Poem- With annotations (writing key points for paragraphs and segments) and highlighting keywords that convey character traits, themes and literary devices- alliteration and similes. 

III. Literary Analysis of Story and Poem. 

1. Central idea

4. Literary Devices - Alliteration, Similes and Metaphor
